POSITION TITLE: Sales Representative
Key Responsibilities:
1. Prior to any outside sales work this position must spend the needed time learning how APS conducts and constructs its business in the field. Final sign off from Division Manager is necessary prior to starting the outside sales work.
2. Focusing on targeted markets with the direction assistance from Division Manager and Business Development Manager in an effort to maximize market share with credible clients.
3. Structure and organization in how we approach and handle our customers. Follow ups and courtesy calls for example.
4. Work in conjunction with Division Manager and Business Development Manager to learn the estimating process.
5. All proposals must be signed off by Division Manager prior to customer submission.
6. Establish, develop, and maintain positive and deep-rooted business and customer relationships.
7. Reach out to customer leads through “cold calling” (to include: cold calls, spontaneous job-site visits, office visits, etc).
8. Work to achieve sales quotas overall and in each sector APS is targeting.
9. Coordinate with clients and APS personnel to find resolution to project requirements: timelines, project work-flows, etc
10. Supply management with feedback on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
11. Keep abreast of best practices and market trends
12. APS internal follow-ups; making sure our team members are aware of what the customers have to say about our services, both good and bad. Communicate all correspondence to Division Manager and Client and Sales Relationship Manager.
13. Learning the APS culture and transforming that into the daily regime.
14. To aid in the collection of accounts receivables from all sold projects.
15. Help Maintain Brand Awareness by staying in front of clients, potential clients, and active involvement in networking events related to APS industry.
16. Will be held accountable for meeting monthly, quarterly and annual goals as agreed on prior to job start and for each planned period.

7. Operations Manager will be notified of any issues that cannot be resolved, or deadlines that cannot be met within a reasonable time frame, and before the deadline has arrived.
8. All proprietary company information will be held as strictly confidential outside the company.
9. Perform all administrative requirements per process.
10. General maintenance of company owned assigned tools or equipment.
