Sag Removal & Sewer Re-rounding

Sagging or bellied sewer lines are serious concerns that should not be ignored, as they can lead to substantial damage over time such as major blockages, backups, leaks, or flooding. Our no-dig approach sag removal and sewer re-rounding service offers a more efficient and cost-effective solution.

What is it?

Fixing Sewer Sag without excavation

Sag Removal is a technical process of internally removing Sags or Deflection identified in flexible pipelines. The process involves pulling a specialized device that gently vibrates the pipeline to assist the surrounding soils with settling. The process can effectively remove sags without any disruption to surface functions, which saves considerable time and money.

Our Process

Sag Removal & Sewer Re-rounding Process

The three sections of the sag remover are assembled inside a manhole. Two air hoses are connected. One to supply a pneumatic powered vibrator and one to power the lift mechanism.

After the machine is positioned in the sag, lift pressure is applied. This forces the center section, which contains the vibrator, against the top of the pipe. The combination of lift pressure and vibration will raise the pipe.

Some of the lifting power comes from the centrifugal force of the vibrator. The rubber isolator pads at the ends of the machine and the air suspension of the lift mechanism prevents this vibration energy from transferring downward.

  • Removes sags or low spots in PVC sewer lines from inside the pipe.
  • Excavation is not required. Costs are at a fraction of the price!
  • Our machine is very versatile with multiple size-pipe adapters: 8″, 10″, 12″, 15″ and 18″.
